The Western Corridor Recycled Water Project (WCRWP) required real-time monitoring of all UHF, microwave and NextG communications equipment and links spanning over 200km of pipeline and three Advanced Water Treatment Plants.
MYGS Directors and Engineers have either held senior positions or key contract roles on project teams throughout the upgrade of one of the largest PLC and SCADA sites in the world (over 400,000 tags at the time of commissioning).
As a result of environmental best practice, high priority was given to automate the cyanide mixing and storage plant. Works required engineering resources for PLC and SCADA design, development and commissioning.
MYGS provided design, integration and commissioning services to integrate a vendor supplied Acacia reactor into an existing PLC, SCADA and communications platform enabling monitoring and control from the mill control room.
